IT’S FABULOUS! IT’S FUN! AND IT’S FREE!
Sunday, Feb. 21st at 3pm in the sanctuary musical director, Lana Richard, and staff organist, John Gross, will once again razzle-dazzle you with their music and funny quips at a piano/organ recital. This year’s concert is entitled “The Bad Boys of the Classics”. You’ll have to come and listen to understand that title. So be there or be square and, of course, stay for the Italian Dinner afterward in the social hall.
CHANCEL CHOIR
Rehearsals are on Wednesday from 7:30 - 9:00 p.m. in the Sanctuary. Rehearsals begin at the end of August in order to be ready to sing for both services on Celebration Sunday in September. This choir enjoys a wide variety of selections from classical to contemporary - appropriate to the season. They sing regularly, alternating with the second service on the first and third Sunday of the month and the first service on the second and fourth Sunday of the month. You can become a staple, a historical component as well as the foundation here at St. Lucas by becoming part of this
choir.

HOSANNA
Monday rehearsals from 7:15 p.m. - 8:15 p.m. beginning in September after Labor Day. This choir sings frequently, but not every Sunday, throughout the year. Singing a wide variety of music, this is a great group to join, not only for the Christian fellowship and the fun of making a joyful noise but the wonderful comments you'll receive afterwards in between services.
ST. LUCAS BELLS
Wednesday Rehearsals are from 6:15-7:15 p.m. beginning in September. They offer their talents for the prelude at both services on the second Sunday of the month. If you think your skills are not up to par please don't let this stop you.! There will be plenty of help, and parts suited to all levels.
SOLOISTS AND INSTRUMENTALISTS
The talent at St. Lucas UCC is rich and abundant but the music department must know about your capabilities so we can use your talents to glorify God. Please contact musical director Lana Richard at the church to discuss the endless amount of opportunities for you to enhance the worship services.
