Vacation Bible School
St. Lucas provides a Vacation Bible School each summer for members and friends aged 3 through 7th grade. 8th graders and High School teens are encouraged to assist teachers by being helpers. The program provides an extended opportunity for sharing the Good News with our children, for reaching out to the community and for having lots of fun!
2009 Vacation Bible School is June 22 - 26
This year, we are going on a Bayou adventure at CROCODILE DOCK where kids will enjoy music, games, crafts, snacks, bible lessons and lots more. A few changes have been made to the daily routines this year. Our teachers will be "crew members" who will shepherd our children from station to station; teachers will not be responsible for any classroom time.
We still need more station volunteers and classroom "crew leaders" for this fun filled week. We are also adding a "Bible Bayou" station and a daily firefly finale. If you can give of your time each day from 9:00 am to 12 noon the last week of June, we would love your help.
Don't miss the bayou adventure at the Crocodile Dock! If you would like to join Crocodile Dock (or your teenager would like volunteer hours), forms are available in the Church Office.
