When: Tues. May 25 for TT Classes Wed., May 26 for MWF Classes
Where: Fritz Shelter at Suson Park
Bring: Lunch and blanket to sit on. An adult need to accompany a child
Time: 9:00 AM
Rain: If it rains on Picnic Day, our “Snow Callers’ will let you know if
picnic is cancelled and then we would have regular school

A MOTHER’S PRAYER:
They’re only little once, Lord. Grant me the wisdom to guide
them down the path that their little feet should take, so that someday they’ll be able to walk alone. Give me the time I need to enjoy them. For after they’re grown, I’ll never have another chance to tell stories, pretend at those tea parties, to watch them in a school play or a church sing, see them catch that first fish or hit that first home run. Give me the time in life’s busy schedule to have fun with my children. Let me be a loving mother, correct—not punish, explain—not merely scold. Let me know when to correct, how often and when it’s best to just look the other way. Help me to be patient and give me a gentle hand to mold them into better people. Help me to be a good teacher and an even better example. For Lord, they’re only little once. Let me do my best for them while I have the chance.

OUR FAMOUS VEGETABLE SOUP RECIPE:
2 carrots 1 can tomato soup 2 celery ribs
1 ½ t Accent 2 potatoes 1/8 C alphabet noddles
1 onion 2 beef bouillion cubes Pinch of parsley
Cover with water. Simmer ½ hour on low in large pot. Enjoy!

TESTING:
We test all of the children who are going to Kindergarten next year with the Dallas Test, a preschool screening test. Results are shown at conferences in February. If you do not want your child tested, please inform your teacher.
COATS:
Please send children in warm enough clothing to go outside for recess when the days are fairly nice but chilly.
