SUPER SENIOR LUNCHEON 2010
Thank you, Thank you, Thank you to all who made our Super Senior Luncheon a wonderful success again this year. Our Caring Ministry provided welcoming experiences at the entry door at the registration desk and as hosts in the Social Hall. Each guest was offered a helping hand and a warm smile along the way. The delicious “bubbly” and snacks at each table and the nourishing dinner, also provided by our Caring Ministers with a little extra kitchen help (Ruth, Gene and Audrey), were followed by a delightful preview of the spring program from our Mon-Fri Preschool children. The highlight of the day for many was what followed in the sanctuary as John Gross and Lana Richard performed musical duets that led us right into worship with communion. Our focus this year was on our blessings. Truly, St. Lucas United Church of Christ is filled with persons who know how to be blessings to each other – surely that is what God intends!
