CHRISTIAN EDUCATION
Christian Education is an integral
part of congregational life and mission, a process that begins in
childhood and continues throughout the life span. We want to encourage
and enhance faith development for each member, so we are always working
to provide opportunities for Christian growth and nurture.

St. Lucas Pre-School
St.
Lucas Pre-School
operates within the Church as a separate entity. It is well-known as
a quality program which faithfully serves families from the St.
Lucas
congregation and the broader community. In addition, the
lively presence of these preschoolers contributes to the congenial
atmosphere through the week.

Children's Education
Our
Church School offers
young people a firm foundation in the Bible and Christian values. We
pride ourselves in our team of caring, dedicated, and well-trained
church schoolteachers. Classes are available for young people from
birth through high school.
Children's Education
Regular worship is an important
part of our total Christian Education program. Younger children and
youth attend part of each Sunday worship service; Confirmation and
post-confirmation students are encouraged to participate as adults
in the worship life of the congregation. Childcare for children
under two is available during worship services, if needed.

St. Lucas provides a Vacation Bible School
each summer for members and friends aged 3 through 7th
grade. 8th graders and High School teens are encouraged
to assist teachers by being helpers. The program provides an
extended opportunity for sharing the Good News with our children,
for reaching out to the community and for having lots of fun!
