Our
Philosophy .......
Our Preschool
serves the needs of 3, 4 and 5 year old children, preparing them for
the Kindergarten experience, showing them that learning can be fun and
demonstrating how we can live in a group situation.
Young children must have first-hand experience in order to learn to
grow. Our Preschool curriculum offers experiences in music, art,
literature, natural and physical sciences and community life. This
is done in an atmosphere of free expression.
These concepts are blended into fun learning activities.
Under the patient
guidance of the teacher, the Preschool child is helped to develop a
positive self image, to be proud of his/her achievements and to be willing
to accept new challenges with confidence. The child is encouraged
to be aware of the relationship between freedom and responsibility, to
be able to accept and observe the limits and boundaries of his freedom
and develop an ability to respond to others in acceptable and positive
ways.
