Music at St. Lucas
Lana Richard wants to make use of
your children’s talents to bless this church!
If you have a child who plays an instrument or would like the occasional vocal solo with one of the adult
choirs, please call Lana at 843-2100 and talk with her about it. After
all, the future of the church is in the youth of St. Lucas!
Adult Choirs
Hosanna Choir
rehearses each Monday evening from 7:15 - 8:15 p.m. This contemporary
choir sings frequently, but not every Sunday. Babysitting is available.
Director, Dorothy Gross, accompanist Lana Richard.
St. Lucas Bells
is a handbell ensemble that rehearses each Wednesday evening from 6:15 -
7:15 p.m. Beginning in October, they usually play the 3rd Sunday of each
month. If you feel your skills are not up to par, please don’t let this
stop you.
Chancel Choir
rehearsals are Wednesday evenings from 7:30 - 9:00 p.m. This choir
enjoys a wide variety of selections from classical to contemporary,
appropriate to the season. Director is Lana Richard and staff
accompanist is John Gross.
Soloists and Instrumentalists
are always invited to add to our worship! Contact Musical Director, Lana Richard at
843-2100.
Youth Choirs
The Youth ministries are a big part of Christian Education and worship
here at St. Lucas. Children will have the opportunity to feel the joy of
music as well as learning Biblical principles, teamwork and what it
means to be a blessing.
Cherubs
is for ages 3 years through 1st grade. Cherubs meet on Sunday from 10:05
- 10:30 a.m. in the Fireside Room and is directed by Karen
Schuster.
Joyful Noise
is for grades 2nd - 5th grade. Rehearsals are on
Sunday from 10:10 - 10:40
a.m. in the Chapel. This group is directed by Cheryl Mather, and Leila Lichtenstein.
