A Quiet Place Apart – Matins at St.
Lucas UCC
Quiet times of meditation and
communion are being offered next Wednesday morning August 27th.
You are invited to experience our beautiful sanctuary early in the
morning for 30 sacred minutes of conversation with God. Each
Wednesday will be a distinct meditation, so come as your schedule
allows. We will begin at 6:30 A.M. (Please enter the church
through the North Narthex doors off the larger parking lot).

chaperone, coach, choir director, etc. If you have attended the seminar
and did not have your photo made for the identification badge, please
see Karen Kramer in the Welcome Center today between services.
Organizers

Parents are
the primary guide for their children’s faith education
and to help in this journey, a three week Bible Blast has been
scheduled for parents and children second grade and older. Join us
during the 10:45 a.m. worship time on the following Sundays: September
14, 21 and 28. This Bible Blast is designed to under gird the
foundation of a life long faith committed to study of the scriptures.
Please add your names to the sign-up sheet in the Welcome Center if you
would like to join in this Biblical adventure. Direct any questions to
Michele Ottinger.
If you
would like the use of a hearing aid
during worship, please ask an usher and he/she will be happy to get one for you.
C.D’s and D.V.D’s are available in the
library if you are interested in listening to, or viewing a
particular Sunday service in your home. All you need to do is sign the
disc out in the notebook next to the disc file, and sign it back
in when it is returned. We ask that you
return all discs promptly, so they may be available for
others
to borrow as well.
