Job Description – AV Technician (part-time)


Purpose:


St. Lucas UCC is seeking a part-time AV Technician to play a key role in bringing our Sunday Services to life for remote worshippers. This vital position offers the convenience of remote prep work (starting Tuesday afternoons once bulletins are available). Once announcements are finalized Thursday afternoon, flexible

in-sanctuary work is required, with Sunday morning being the only required, set time

for in-person work. No prior experience with faith-based organizations is required—just a passion for quality production and reliable support.


Your Role:

● Prepare ProPresenter playlists for all Sunday services.

● Set up and ensure all AV equipment and software are fully functional for Sunday services, which requires being on-site at St. Lucas UCC from 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. on Sundays.

● Post-service, ensure titles are added to YouTube videos.

● Distribute the YouTube video link to members via Constant Contact.

● Assist with additional AV tasks as requested by the AV Chairperson, time permitting.


Who We’re Seeking:


What We Expect:

● Must be 18 years or older.

● Must possess a valid Driver’s License.

● Availability to be on-site at St. Lucas UCC on Sundays from 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.

● Proficiency with Windows-based computers, including:

○ Microsoft Word

○ Microsoft Excel

○ Microsoft PowerPoint

○ Google Suite (Google Drive, Google Docs, Gmail)

○ Zoom

● Background check required


It’s Great if You Have:

● Experience with ProPresenter.

● Experience with YouTube content creation.


Compensation:

● $20 - $25 per hour based on experience

● Up to 10 hours per week

● All time learning, training, and watching tutorials relevant to the position is paid time.
