Open and Affirming Task Force
Open and Affirming (ONA) is a movement of more than 1,800 churches and other ministries in the United Church of Christ that welcome lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queen (LGBTQ+) members.
In November of 2023 St. Lucas UCC commissioned an Open and Affirming Task Force to open the conversation about becoming an Open and Affirming congregation. This is an inquiring, discerning process to which all are invited.
