March is Women's History Month and throughout our history, St. Lucas UCC has been blessed by the dedication and leadership of women. From the pulpit to the pews, women have shaped the church’s mission with grace, strength, and compassion. As pastors, leaders, teachers, and community advocates, they have offered spiritual guidance, fostered growth, and championed justice. During Women’s History Month, we celebrate their profound contributions, honoring their enduring legacy of wisdom and grace.
In 1890 the Women's Fellowship began and ran through 2020. This ministry continues as Women With a Mission, a group committed to service and fellowship.

The first women were elected to the Church Council in 1961.
Over the years we have had 9 women serve as President of the Council.
We are so grateful for the women in our church and their many valuable contributions.
